Construction Timber & Firring Strips

At Woodstock Timber & Sons, we specialise in rough sawn and tanalised C24 graded construction Timber. Although commonly referred to as rough sawn, the finished style of our timber is known as “eased edge”. The rounded edge reduces risk of splinters and damage to the timber when strook against a hard object.

Construction Timber Sizing

To ensure quality, we import all our timber from parts of the world where it grows along the northern hemisphere. This ensures a slow grown and dense grain within our timber. You’ll often find our timber is machined from Scandinavian pine, usually redwood pine. An incredibly resilient softwood.

We also keep a large stock of C16 graded CLS timber in stock to keep your jobs cost-effective where building regulations will allow.
